All students doing a Silver, Team
Silver, Gold or Team Gold CREST project can apply to the Student
Venture Capital Fund for assistance with funding their project.
This assistance is for the purchase of equipment or consumables
required to undertake and complete a CREST Project.
Applications for funding will only be accepted once a project has had
its Progress Check.
A copy of the report (part of the Progress check) must
accompany the application.
A RSNZ panel will make funding decisions and these decisions are final.
Conditions - what you need to do...
1. You may apply for funding once your project has had its progress
check.
2. Applications for funding will only be accepted
once a project has had its progress check.
3. A copy of the report (part of the Progress check) for your
assessor must accompany
the application.
4. Applications that indicate that you have looked for/requested
support/sponsorship from
other sources (i.e. organisations) will be given
preference.
5. You must be prepared to make some contribution yourself i.e. CREST
will not fully
fund your project.
6. A copy of your Capital Venture Fund application and record of
expenditure must be
included in your CREST log.
7. Once your project is completed, a copy of your final report
and an outline of how you
used your Student Capital Venture fund is to be
forwarded to CREST New Zealand.
